In 1982, Larry Linderer, a former PPG executive, founded the Salisbury Glass Company. The company began as a single shop with five employees. A year later, his son Doug joined. The company grew, bringing in more expertise in the form of key people. Since then the core staff has become the main ingredient of a people-centered business. In 1992, Doug Linderer bought the company from his father and added three more stores to the array. His focus was the same, but he enlarged a passionate view of safety, certification, and quality service in all aspects of the business. In addition to Auto Glass, he added products and services to serve the home, business, and contractor segments of the market. In 2005, the company’s growth continued with the acquisition of Bennett’s Action Glass in Dover, Delaware and Bennett’s Seaside Glass in Lewes, Delaware. Those locations solidified the geographic coverage in the Delaware while adding expertise in commercial glazing and custom glass fabrication. In 2008, Mr. Go-Glass was pleased to build on another long-term relationship with the acquisition of Seger Glass in Easton, Maryland. For more than 30 years, Seger Glass built a reputation for quality in service to the Talbot County Maryland market. Also in 2008, Doug Linderer passed day-to-day operational control of the business to his brother-in-law, Thomas Huff, who runs the business as President and CEO. Through both organic and external growth Mr. Go-Glass has grown from a one-shop company into the premier glass chain, servicing all of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Eastern Shore of Virginia, and the State of Delaware. The mission of delivering a high level of service to our customers has not changed
